The lake has been very good in the early morning hours on the south end and the west side. Rapalas or small flashers and a worm or using a thomas buoyant spoon. When using a spoon, use a small snap swivel. If you don't, you will end up with a twisted mess. For those die hard anglers that fish all day. Fish the east and the south end. As the sun comes up the fish go deeper and are slower to respond. You will need to get your prentatation down a little deeper. Be cautious of the willow beed on the south end and look for the drop off and follow it east to west. As a note, if you don't have enough life jackets for all on board. They have a life jacket loaner station at the Douglas County Park boat launch.
Good luck on your next fishing adventure. If you have a question. a report in our local fishing area or have a photo of your catch, send it to nevada@fishreports.com. Hope to see you on the waters. Good fishin' and tight lines.
