Baily is one of the best community ponds in the state. Trout fishing has been excellent this summer but will slow down as water temperatures climb and stocking slows down. If the trout at Baily aren’t eating, the green sunfish are almost always eager to eat. Salmon eggs or small worms under a bobber and power worms or power bait off the bottom is always effective at Baily. Fly fishing with small nymphs should be effective when there are no fish on the surface.
