The Crooked is fishing well!

The Crooked has been fishing well, with consistent action for those mixing it up between dries and subsurface work. Midges are a key player right now, and Tailwater Tinies in olive are producing steady results. Swinging or drifting soft hackles through riffles is picking up fish, especially during midday lulls. If you want to add a little flash and movement, ask us in the shop about our favorite jiggy-style droppers—they’ve been putting in work for our guides. We’re on the water out there daily, so we’re seeing the bite patterns shift in real time and can get you dialed before you head out.
