Frenchman Lake is in a similar summer pattern, with fish pushing deeper to escape the warmer surface water. Anglers are reporting the most consistent action in the deeper section of the lake, from the Narrows south to the dam. Trolling has been particularly effective in this stretch, especially for those running flashers, spoons, and nightcrawlers down 20–30 feet. The fish are there — but they’re making anglers work a little harder by holding tight to the cooler water.
