Nothing additional to report this week except the fishing continues to be stellar on the T! Summer Run fish continue to congregate on the main tributaries from the North Fork confluence up to Junction City. There are a ton of salmon getting ready to spawn, this weather may have begin to dig redds. Flows will be lowered to the winter 300 CFS from Lewiston Dam tomorrow. Fishing remains superb on nymphs and this is a good time to swing as well. These are super grabby summer run fish, you can get them on Rubberlegs, Duracells, Olive Hotspots and Copper Johns. Steelhead Fishing Can be Frustrating
These anadromous rainbow trout are known as the 'Fish of a Thousand Casts.' For good reason! The learning curve can be quite steep learning when and where to go, and what type of water to target.
