Aqueduct anglers reported fair to good fishing, with small striped bass and plenty of catfish taking a variety of baits. Striped bass anglers landed smaller fish using cut sardines, anchovies, and chicken liver, with bait thread recommended to keep the liver on the hook. Catfish were caught near outtake grates using chicken liver, dip bait, and cut baits, and several anglers reported catching five or more in a single outing. Largemouth bass chased bait at first light, with topwater poppers and walking baits producing strikes when cast across the aqueduct. Bass also hit drop-shot rigs with flukes, and Roboworms in Smokin’ Shad and green pumpkin patterns producing bites.
