No retention of wild coho is allowed.
Fall Chinook fishing in the Wilson River should improve this week as fish migrate in following last weekend's rain. The lower river should provide some decent Chinook fishing opportunity. Jordan Creek is the upstream deadline for Chinook angling. The bag limit is 1 wild adult Chinook per day and 2 for the season in the Tillamook basin in aggregate.
The Wilson gets a run of hatchery summer steelhead. There are fish throughout the fishery (up to South Fork). Fall can be a good time of year to target these fish as the dropping water temperatures can make them more active and willing to bite.
Wilson River levels and predictions are available here.
