Good reports of trout and bass coming to shad patterns and Woolley Buggers in the Centimudi Ramp and Pit Arm area. Look for the tributaries to come up with this storm and fish the incoming slew of food. Trout will be congregating in preparation for their spawning runs and will be chowing on whatever is hatching. Otherwise the bass will be chasing shad. Float n' Fly with the shad Float n' Fly pattern or a Balanced Leech will be the ticket fished towards shore or wherever you see fish busting bait balls. The Sexy Shad Baby Fat Minnow stripped on the end of an intermediate or full sinking line should be just the ticket. This fall and through the winter will be a great time to get out on the lake if you would like to catch as many fish as you can handle or want to sight cast streamers to cruising fish, give us a call we have the best fly guides on Shasta Lake!
Hot Flies:
• Wooly Buggers
• Float-n-Flies
• Dead Drop Minnow
• Zack's Stillwater Balanced Leech
