The Siuslaw is still open for Fall Chinook! The Siuslaw has had a decent catch so far, with folks having some success in the lower river. Your best bet in the lower Siuslaw is trolling though there are a few bank angling spots along the boulder rip rap in the lower stretches of the river. For the most part fish have moved up and out of the lower stretches of the Siuslaw and are moving up into the basin. As a general reminder: Lake Creek Basin is CLOSED to all Salmon Angling!
