While the Fall is open to fishing year round, it is probably cold and slow. If you go, look for Blue Wing Olives and other small mayflies coming off. Small #18 S&M nymphs in black and olive will get fish eating subsurface. Baetis and Callibaetis nymphs under the Fathead Moth is a good combination when the fish aren't rising. Strip Pine Squirrel Leeches and Water Boatmen in the mid-day and afternoons. If you would like to set up a day on the Fall, give a call Bryan in Outfitters at 800-669-3474 to set up a trip!

Baum Lake: Recent reports indicate this is a great option with lots of fish and some big ones too
Shasta Lake: Trout will be congregating in preparation for their spawning runs and will be chowing on whatever is hatching
Manzanita Lake: Storm headed our way this week
