It is windy and cold, and that means the ancient lake is fishing well. The Lahontans are eating Tui chubs for the time being. Good flies would be Zach's Pyramid Minnow in Tui chub and white. Balanced Leeches tied in lighter colors can work as well. From here on out you can fish the big midges and Balanced Leeches. This season is looking to be very good!
Hot Flies:
• Pyramid Beach Leech - #8
• Zack's Cut Bait Midge
• Rich's Moo-Midge - #8
• Mahalo Nymphs
• Popcorn Beetle
• Midnight Cowboy
• Zack's Pyramid Minnow
