The Pine Valley Recreation Area is closed for 2026 due to the Forsyth Fire and flooding. In addition, the reservoir will be drained through 2026 so that the aging dam can be rebuilt. Refilling and restocking is planned for 2027, as long as construction proceeds as planned.
