The lake rose to 62 percent of its storage capacity, and anglers had to adapt to the rapidly rising water level. The best bet has been wacky rigged weightless Senkos, as that bait catches fish from the surface to the bottom including the suspended bass. Drop shot and hula grubs also worked for bites. Crappie anglers reported doing well on minijigs and minnows after locating schools of fish, but the challenge has been locating the schools from day to day due to the constantly rising water level. There were few reports from catfish anglers.
