At the time of reporting, Naci sat at 49 percent of its storage capacity, and fishing was good. Bass anglers enjoyed solid topwater action, with walking baits proving most effective, though poppers and prop-style lures also produced results. Spotted bass were caught on drop shot rigs, grubs, and shaky heads fished in 10 to 25 feet of water, with Aaron’s Magic, hologram shad, and MM II colors all boating fish. Senkos, crankbaits, and underspins rigged with Keitech trailers added to the counts. Crappie responded to shiners and minijigs tipped with crappie nibbles, while catfish favored cut mackerel and chicken liver.
