Catfish anglers reported excellent action, especially after dark. Cut baits, fresh shrimp, and SSS dip bait all produced steady bites throughout the week. Striped bass fishing was slower, with most catches coming on cut sardines and jug worms. Largemouth bass provided solid action for anglers casting poppers and Rapala Skitter Walks along the aqueduct edges. Dark-colored Senkos and Texas-rigged 6-inch plastic worms also fooled bass near grates and in eddies.

Pyramid Lake, CA: Bass anglers reported decent fishing with drop shot, Texas rigs, and Senkos
Lake Isabella: Fishing conditions have been excellent, especially for bass and crappie
Kern River: The Upper Kern River continues to see regular trout plants by the CDFW
Lake Kaweah: The lake dropped to 94 percent of its storage capacity, and fishing remained solid
Lake Success: Success remained at 100 percent of its storage capacity with anglers reporting good multi species fishing
River Walk Lakes: Anglers are enjoying solid bass action throughout the day
Ming Lake: Bass have been hitting topwater lures during the early morning and late afternoon hours
Buena Vista Lakes: Buena Vista Lakes has been good for bass, catfish, and crappie
