The lake held near 83% of its storage capacity, and fishing continued to improve as both largemouth and smallmouth showed better size while following the same patterns. Bass anglers fished the boils until 10 a.m. before switching to finesse rigs in nearly any color around rocky structure, while striped bass worked the surface in the ski arm with many five-plus-pound fish reported on Espetits and other shad-patterned walking baits. Catfish anglers found good action along the shorelines in 10 to 40 feet of water with cut sardines and dip bait, and a few striped bass were also hooked by those targeting cats.
