The DFWL stocked trout here last week. It was limit style fishing after the stocking and anglers were scoring fish on garlic scented baits, trout jigs and spinners. The Spring Bass bite is in full effect with multiple fish reported over 6-pounds this week. Anglers are finding quality bites with chatterbaits, swimbaits, Senkos and squarebills. The best action has come later in the day. The crappie bite is decent in the afternoon with crappie jigs. The bluegill bite is good on wax worms and meal worms, while Carp can be caught with dough baits.
