Catfish and striped bass action remained strong this past week, highlighted by a 14-pound striped bass caught on cut bait. Anglers also found success using white Flukes on jig heads, topwater Spooks, and Rattle Traps. Catfish were readily taking cut sardines, anchovies, chicken liver, and dip bait. Largemouth bass were active in slower-moving water, hitting topwater poppers, Zara Puppies, and drop-shot rigs.
