The lake remained at 92% of its storage capacity, and conditions were windy most days as bass anglers found good action on both largemouth and smallmouth with steady catches from 10 to 20 feet of water on points and steep rock walls. Most anglers avoided the dying weeds and targeted cleaner, rocky structure with Texas rigs, drop shot, and creature baits in oxblood, dark green with black flake, and craw patterns. Striped bass hit jerkbaits, Flukes, and topwater lures when they pushed bait against the shoreline, while catfish were taken on cut baits and chicken liver.
