Bass fishing at Lake Ming has been very good this week, with anglers reporting steady action on chatterbaits, topwater frogs, and flipping baits. Natural colors and bluegill imitations have been the most effective choices. Those throwing glide baits early in the morning and late in the evening have been connecting with better-quality bass. Crappie have been biting well later in the day, especially on mini jigs tipped with nibbles or live shiners. The bluegill bite remains excellent, with wax worms and mealworms under a bobber providing plenty of action for shore anglers. Catfish are also on the chew and can be caught using dip bait, chicken liver, or nightcrawlers.
