Anglers are reporting steady bass action at Ming Lake this week, especially during the early morning and late evening hours. The frog bite has been consistent during those low-light periods, particularly around grassy edges and shaded cover. Flipping baits, weightless Senkos, and finesse plastics have also been producing well in the mornings. Productive colors include Green Pumpkin, Watermelon, and Ox Blood—particularly when fished near submerged structure or along the weed lines. The bluegill bite remains excellent, with anglers catching plenty using red worms, mealworms, or wax worms under a bobber.
