Fishing at BV has been productive for trout, crappie, and bluegill. Crappie anglers found biting fish while using Get Bent baits in Izzy killer and Pearl White. Mini jigs and small swimbaits both worked for bites. Bluegill ate redworms and waxworms. Trout anglers did well after the last plant. Dough baits, minijigs, and spoons all took fish. Boat anglers landed some solid rainbows while trolling small jerkbaits and spoons. Largemouth went after weightless Senkos and Texas rigged 6” straight tailed worms. Catfish anglers hooked up with SSS dip bait and chicken liver. Some better grade whisker fish were reported by an angler using fresh shrimp.
