The lake dropped to 94 percent of its storage capacity, and fishing remained solid. Spotted bass and largemouth were available for anglers throwing topwater, underspins, and a variety of small plastics. Bass held along bluff walls, rocky points, and in the submerged brush. Crappie went after minijigs tipped with crappie nibbles and small live minnows; any major cove held biting fish. Catfish anglers used SSS dip bait with good results.
