Striper anglers reported decent bait fishing with cut sardines, anchovies, and live minnows. Tube baits, jerkbaits, and small swimbaits fooled fish as well. Largemouth were active in the eddies before and after check gates. Outtake grates have also been good places to land bass. Weightless Senkos, and Carolina rigs both scored bites. Poppers and walking baits also took bass in the mornings. Catfish were reliable in the afternoon for anglers Carolina rigging cut sardines, anchovies, and chicken liver.
