Fishing was fair to good at Buena Vista Lakes with bass and crappie providing the best action. Largemouth anglers focused on the islands, cattails, and rocky structure, and fish were taken on chatterbaits with small swimbait trailers, Texas-rigged brown lizards, and weightless Senkos. Crappie were caught on small live minnows near the launch ramps, while catfish were taken on SSS dip bait and chicken liver on the long soak.
