At Hart Park, a 7-pound bass was reported by one lucky local angler, with several additional bass in the 3 to 5-pound range also hitting the scales. Creature baits punched into thick weed beds proved key for the bigger bites. Texas rigs, Senkos, and topwater lures also produced quality bass. Bluegill responded well to live redworms fished under a bobber, while catfish were caught on Carolina-rigged smelly baits.
