Success Lake remained at 14 percent of its storage capacity, and bass anglers reported decent fishing for fish between two and five pounds. Good numbers came on finesse baits and Senkos in 10 to 30 feet of water, while larger bass were caught on jigs, crankbaits, and Huddlestons near submerged trees. Crappie anglers caught a few fish around the marina and submerged trees, and catfish anglers reported steady action using dip bait and chicken liver.

Lake Isabella: Lake Isabella held steady this week at 33 percent of capacity
Kern River: Trout have been stocked in the Upper Kern over the past few weeks
Lake Kaweah: The lake rose to 11 percent of its storage capacity, and fishing was fair
Lake Success: The lake rose to 14 percent of its storage capacity, and bass fishing was somewhat tougher last week
River Walk Lakes: Anglers have been finding bass action during the early morning and late evening hours
Ming Lake: At Ming Lake, bass are actively feeding along the grass lines
