Fishing was decent at Hart Park last week, with a mix of both small and larger bass reported. Smaller bass bit well on drop-shot and other finesse-style baits, while the larger fish were caught on jigs in brown and black colors. There was also some topwater and crankbait action during the early morning hours. Catfish were caught on garlic-scented nightcrawlers and dip bait, and panfish hit live worms and crappie jigs.

Castaic Lake: Castaic Lake rose to 85 percent of its storage capacity
Pyramid Lake, CA: Pyramid Lake remained at full pool, and water temperatures were in the mid to upper sixties
Lake Isabella: Lake Isabella has dropped slightly to 35 percent of capacity, but fishing remains solid across the lake
Kern River: Anglers have reported steady trout action throughout the 20-mile stretch
Lake Kaweah: Kaweah Lake sat at 9 percent of its storage capacity, and fishing was good
Lake Success: Bass anglers reported another decent week of fishing
River Walk Lakes: Bass activity has been picking up
Ming Lake: Bass action has picked up this week
Buena Vista Lakes: Fishing was good for crappie, bass, and catfish at Buena Vista Lake
