Consistent rain, wind, and cold kept most anglers off this high-mountain reservoir, but a few refused to stay home. Trout anglers who braved the weather landed steady rainbows in the one- to three-pound range, with bait-and-wait dough baits producing most of the action. Some anglers also picked up strikes on small crankbaits, spoons, and mini jigs. Bass anglers fished deeper and worked finesse baits in green pumpkin, brown, and bluegill patterns. Striped bass reports were scattered, with some anglers getting skunked while others scored on topwater and Flukes when they located boiling fish. Catfish action held average on cut baits and chicken liver.
