Fishing was fair at Hart Park with a few standout catches. One angler reported several three- to five-pound bass on larger swimbaits worked along the weed beds. A seven-pound catfish was landed on SSS dip bait, and a few crappie hit small live minnows. Most bass anglers focused on Texas rigs and weedless creature baits under thick vegetation mats. Bluegill took mealworms, waxworms, and red worms, while catfish bit dip bait and chicken liver.
