Lake levels shifted between 79 and 76 percent of capacity, and anglers reported a wide range of results. One striped bass topped fifteen pounds, and several anglers stacked up 30-fish days, while others came up empty. Finesse plastics such as the C3 series and small Roboworms produced steady bites, but some of the heavier catches came on spoons dropped to 50 feet. Kastmasters, War Eagles, tailspins, and blade-style baits all put fish in the net, with white continuing to work for every bass species. Trout action slowed, though anglers still picked off rainbows on Powerbait, mousetails, spoons, and small tubes.
